Schooling at Campion in Bombay!

I joined Campion in the third grade. And instantly fell in love with the school, and everything about it.
I was studying in G.D. Somani Memorial School in Cuffe Parade, from nursery school till the 2nd grade. My parents then moved me to Campion School, a jesuit all boys school on Cooperage Road, in the 3rd standard.
I fit in immediately as most of my friends from the Bombay Port Trust quarters studied there. We used to live next to the BPT Quarters, on the reclamation.
Renish Nayar was one of my closest friends, and he was not only my neighbour, but was also my classmate. He left after the 7th Grade as his family moved to another city.
(more coming!)

Two of my proudest moments..Becoming the School Captain, and winning the Taleyarkhan Trophy for Leadership

I have a few dreams in life. One of them was to be the School Captain, the highest and most respected position in the student body in my school, and in turn in Bombay. After I was invested with the position, I now got to wear the School Blazer(Jacket), and the School Captain's badge and chord. Every day of my 10th standard year (1992-1993), I would wake up and proudly wear my clothes, and finally put the School Captain's chord on.. Wow! What a feeling!
Another dream was to be awarded the Firdaus Taleyarkhan Trophy for Leadership. And at the end of my final year, I was awarded the prestigious trophy, by Mr. Keshub Mahindra, a famous industrialist and personality of India, who was the Chief Guest at the Award function.
